Our journey began with a one-year adventure in Australia, intending to immerse ourselves in the vibrant working life of Melbourne, renowned as the world’s top place to live.

Little did we know that this initial plan would never end and we would still be here with an addition to the family. What were once big adventures have transformed into a myriad of mini escapades Our travel blog chronicles the stories of our extended stay, filled with the essence of Melbourne’s culture and the countless surprises that each mini adventure unveils.

10,310km travelled in 42 days

We also stayed a few extra days in South Africa and ended with a much needed few days in Nairobi. Our total African Adventure was 53 days.

Dubai

Dubai was a stopover on our way to South Africa. We chose to spend 3 days here before continuing on.

  • Wild Wadi Waterpark.
  • Desert Safari; This included sand boarding, camel rides, BBQ, Henna, Shisha, Entertainment and Dune Buggy Bashing.
  • Vist to the Gold Souk
  • Visit to Emirates Mall (Although we should have gone to Dubai Mall)
